Cuicui is concept band as well as a performance. The trio plays very loud some very violent music at a very heigh bpm in very small space.
CUICUI always take places in small box of 2 meter cube made of found carboard and wood. The experience is extreme, physical and very positive as the space is saturated with sound, people, smells, shouts and laughters. Eniarof 0.2 was successful and so was cuicui. This project send cuicui to another layer, we were between art and mainstream. We really started to question the position of the rock band as a medium for art, and so the physical relation between actors and spectators. Because of the size of the box only a maximum of 10, 15 people could get in, they felt like in a venue packed with 50 peoples. The box had the same perception of space as a tent have: small from the outside and big from the inside. The box created a sort of fantasy/phantasm of the Club/Gig. The massive sound and the fact that people were directly “in the action” because they were packed with us has given to the people from outside the vision of a crazy and energetic gig. But Eniarof was a lot more then this: Ato + Dardex + Eniarof + AbstractMachine + Ecole D’Art D’aix + Royal Catch Club + Makee Moo’s pimped wheelbarrows and more….

Toujours soucieux d’avoir un train d’avance et d’être a l’avant-garde du Rock’n'roll, le meilleur groupe de première partie du monde : Cuicui, a décidé de proposer a Eniarof son tout dernier projet. Le concept du concert intimiste pour une personne enfermée dans une boite en carton pendant deux jours avec les membres du groupe. L’évenement sera perceptible de l’extérieur, grâce une puissante amplification sonore.
Always concerned to be at the top and to be with the avant-garde of Rock’n’ roll, the best support group of the world: Cuicui, decided to show at the Eniarof festival his very last project. The concept of a “cosy” concert for one or two persons in a cardboard box during two days. The event will be perceptible outside, thanx to the powerful sound amplification.
Le cabaret entier tiendra dans un cube en carton de coté égal a l’envergure du membre Sober (aka TM) lorsque celui-ci déploie ses bras comme un Albatros. Il sera installé de préférence en extérieur, il nécessitera une arrivée électrique capable de supporter les enceintes, les amplis, et le matériel informatique qui sera utilisé.
The whole cabaret ( box ) will hold in a cube made of cardboard with dimensions equal to the scale of the member Sober (aka TM) when he deploys his arms like an Albatross. It will be installed preferably outside, it will require an electric arrival able to support the enclosures, the amplifiers, and computer equipement which will be used.
